Our Ultra Eco Crewneck Sweatshirts are hand dyed with cutch, which is a botanical extract from the Acacia Tree. The different color options are achieved by changing the PH in the dye bath and by using varying lengths of time each garment is steeped in the vat. Expect your garment to differ slightly from what is pictured in terms of dappled pattern effects and exact hue achieved. Know that with plant based dyes, it is nearly impossible to achieve the same exact hue with each batch, as every Acacia tree grows in different conditions and lives a unique life. The same process will be used for each batch of garments, and your special piece will be matched as closely as possible to what is pictured here.
